Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-zoned grocery area ready for customers at all times.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove expired or damaged items to uphold product freshness and quality.
• Accurately price, label, and sign merchandise following store procedures including handling markdowns and clearances.
• Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and cleaning guidelines to ensure a hygienic workspace.
• Stock shelves fully, manage downstocking, apply necessary product protections, and correctly execute shelving arrangements including flexible modulars and shelf caps.
• Comply with all health and safety rules and Walmart policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Be flexible with work shifts, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.

Challenges

• Effectively manage a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment, including overnight hours, while maintaining energy and focus.
• Perform physical duties such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and repetitively stocking and organizing merchandise with precision.

Additional Information

The starting hourly wage for this position begins at $17.75 CAD.
