Role & Responsibilities
- Design innovative, production-ready packaging solutions aligned with brand and market standards.
- Utilize expert knowledge of diverse printing methods including offset, digital, and flexographic to ensure superior quality across materials.
- Adapt designs suitably for various packaging formats such as boxes, pouches, and labels, addressing material-specific requirements.
- Maintain consistency across designs by following style guides and standardized templates.
- Engage with customers to interpret their briefs and incorporate feedback swiftly to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure quality control by verifying design accuracy, color fidelity, resolution, and print-readiness.
- Provide mentorship to junior designers, promoting skill enhancement and knowledge exchange.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to streamline packaging and print design workflows for better efficiency and output quality.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in pre-press packaging design.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite—InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Comprehensive understanding of prepress and print production processes, including color management, bleed, and die-line setup.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and file-sharing tools for effective documentation and teamwork.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address design challenges within client and technical constraints.
- High attention to detail to deliver error-free packaging and print outputs.
- Strong time management skills enabling adherence to strict deadlines.
- Effective communication abilities for collaborating with international teams and clients.
- Proactive in learning and keeping abreast of emerging packaging and printing trends and technologies.
Additional Information
- Work Schedule: 6 days a week with the 2nd and 4th Saturdays off.
- Shift Timings: 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM.
- Compensation: Up to 500,000 INR per annum.
