About the Role

We are excited to offer a position for a Graduate Data Scientist aimed at recent graduates passionate about launching a career in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced data analytics. This entry-level opportunity is designed for individuals who enjoy working with data, building predictive models, and turning complex datasets into meaningful business insights. No prior job experience is necessary as comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided to develop your skills in data science, machine learning, statistical techniques, and business intelligence.

Main Duties

Collect, clean, transform, and analyze both structured and unstructured datasets.
Create predictive models and machine learning solutions addressing business challenges.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to detect trends, patterns, and irregularities.
Contribute to development, testing, and evaluation of machine learning models.
Produce reports, dashboards, and visual presentations to convey analytical results.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
Support the preparation of data and feature engineering processes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement data-driven solutions.
Document methodologies, model performance, and project insights.
Assist in the deployment and ongoing monitoring of analytical models when necessary.
Communicate technical outcomes effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Keep updated on new technologies, trends in AI, and data science best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field.
Recent graduate or up to one year of professional experience.
Strong analytical thinking, mathematical proficiency, and problem-solving abilities.
Good grasp of statistics, machine learning principles, and data analysis concepts.
Basic programming skills in Python and SQL.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
Attention to detail and sound logical reasoning skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated enthusiasm for continuous learning and embracing innovation.

Preferred Skills

Foundational knowledge of Python, SQL, and R programming languages.
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib.
Basic understanding of databases, ETL workflows, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an advantage.
Working knowledge of Git version control is helpful.
Academic projects, research work, internships, or personal portfolio projects involving data science or machine learning are beneficial though not mandatory.
