Role Impact and Responsibilities
This critical and highly visible role within the Integrated Performance Solutions group manages global accounts generating approximately $25-30 million in annual revenue. The manager will lead one global account and assist with several others, setting and implementing strategic account plans to foster profitable growth. The position requires intense collaboration with senior executives and stakeholders, coordination across North America, Europe, and South America, and balancing customer interests with company objectives.
- Achieve or surpass sales and EBITDA targets for assigned global accounts
- Create strategic account plans with financial objectives, forecasts, and multi-year supply proposals
- Establish and cultivate relationships with senior executives and various stakeholder levels beyond procurement
- Align strategies and execution through global account team coordination across multiple regions
- Relay customer insights to R&D and Product Management to facilitate innovation and customer-tailored projects
- Lead negotiation of contracts, pricing, terms, and agreements to secure profitable, sustainable relationships
- Represent TekniPlex at trade exhibitions and industry conferences, enhancing market presence and customer connections
- Manage competing priorities between customer demands and organizational goals, resolving conflicts effectively
- Provide regular account performance and strategy briefings to company leadership
Qualifications
- Minimum five years progressive experience managing key accounts within the packaging industry, including current direct involvement with complex global accounts and international travel
- Demonstrated success in driving profitable growth specifically in flexible packaging, dispensing, or closure products and launching new commercial solutions
- Strong financial and commercial expertise with skills in pricing strategies, forecasting, and contract negotiations
- Excellent communication abilities, adept at inquiry, active listening, conflict resolution, and influencing senior stakeholders within matrix organizations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally
- Spanish fluency is preferred

Additional Information
Work Location: Remote position but must be based in EST or CST time zones with approximately 50% travel, including international trips.

Compensation: Competitive salary aligned with experience, plus annual bonus and car allowance.
