GET-TME Engineer

About the Role

The GET-TME Engineer will design, execute, and continuously refine test procedures to uphold product quality, ensure manufacturing efficiency, and achieve dependable production outcomes. This role is vital for guaranteeing that test systems and methodologies are robust, precise, and meet product and process requirements throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance test processes including ICT, FCT, functional, and reliability testing to maintain consistent quality and manufacturing readiness.
• Manage setup, calibration, validation, and preventive maintenance of test equipment and fixtures to ensure high uptime and process stability.
• Collaborate with New Product Introduction (NPI), research and development, manufacturing, quality teams, and equipment vendors during EVT, PVT, and mass production phases to ensure comprehensive test coverage and early problem resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis on failures, yield issues, and process deviations; drive corrective and preventive actions to optimize performance.
• Define and monitor test parameters, acceptance criteria, and failure analysis methods to keep test procedures effective and aligned with product specs.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, validation records, and engineering change notes.
• Coordinate with global R&D and suppliers to transfer, customize, and implement new test solutions in production.
• Support automation efforts including MES integration and data collection for real-time quality tracking and decision-making.
• Analyze test data and production trends to identify improvement opportunities in yield, cycle time, and process efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, manufacturing protocols, and safety regulations during all testing activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
• Comprehensive understanding of electronic test methods, manufacturing test systems, and product validation.
• Proficient in setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of test equipment.
• Skilled in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures.
• Familiar with documentation control including SOPs, test procedures, and engineering change management.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Capable of interpreting technical data to inform process improvements.
• Flexible to support fast-paced production and NPI activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ICT, FCT, functional, or reliability testing within electronics manufacturing.
• Knowledge of EVT, PVT, and mass production launch processes.
• Hands-on experience with MES systems, test automation, or manufacturing analytics.
• Expertise in test fixture design, validation, and equipment qualification.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement practices.
• Experience collaborating with global engineering teams and international vendors.
• Understanding of failure analysis techniques and yield enhancement strategies.

Additional Information

This role is based onsite in Sydney, Australia with a required experience range of 2 to 6 years. The application deadline is August 9, 2026. The employer conducts a 1–2 week application review, followed by 2–3 interview rounds and skill assessment.
