General Utility Worker

Job Overview

Aramark Canada is seeking a motivated General Utility Worker based in Surrey, British Columbia. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, tools, equipment, and the work environment, while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and safety.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, kitchen utensils, and equipment.
• Keep the dishwashing station and three-compartment sink area clean and organized.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is operational and clean, reporting any malfunctions or concerns to management promptly.
• Perform light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a positive and professional attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Follow company safety policies including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Secure company assets and comply with all safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Basic knowledge and understanding of sanitation procedures.
• Ability to comply with safety protocols, particularly due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Physical capability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing.
• Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
