About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and responsible General Manager to lead one of our XIAO restaurants in Langenfeld, North Rhine-Westphalia. This role requires a strong hospitality leadership background and an entrepreneurial mindset to independently oversee daily operations ensuring a seamless experience for our guests and team.

As the General Manager, you will act as an autonomous leader driving performance and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and customers. You will be responsible for managing a restaurant with an annual net turnover of 4-5 million euros, serving around 150,000 guests yearly, and coordinating approximately 60 employees.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the full operation of the XIAO restaurant, maintaining efficient and effective workflows.
Lead recruitment efforts and develop a pool of emerging talent.
Create training programs and conduct employee training sessions.
Ensure adherence to all corporate policies, safety, and quality standards.
Manage inventory optimally and implement efficient staffing plans.
Guarantee restaurant profitability and operational effectiveness through clear goal-setting and KPI monitoring, taking corrective actions when necessary.
Deliver excellent guest management and service quality.
Maintain thorough communication lines between your restaurant and corporate management.
Collaborate with internal departments such as HR, marketing, purchasing, and controlling.
Communicate professionally with external partners and customers.

Requirements

Proven experience in system gastronomy with several years in a comparable leadership role, especially as an operations manager.
Professional background working with buffet-style concepts.
Proficiency in English.
