General Manager

Role Overview

As a General Manager at this food delivery outlet, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of operational duties including managing equipment, ingredient stock, product preparation, and order processing to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate all necessary equipment effectively and safely.
• Transfer ingredients from deliveries to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers maintaining organization and quality.
• Prepare food products as per standards.
• Receive telephone orders and process them efficiently.
• Conduct inventory checks and complete related documentation accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and premises on a daily basis.
• Deliver products to customers by car, navigating through various terrains and locations including multi-level buildings and private residences.
• Distribute flyers and door hangers within the delivery area to support marketing efforts.

Skills and Abilities Required

• Strong numerical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with the ability to make correct monetary change, possibly aided by a calculator.
• Proficient verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders accurately.
• Good motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to enable rapid and precise movements.
• Ability to enter orders using either a computer keyboard or a touchscreen efficiently.
• Comprehension and clear communication of written instructions.
• Capability to navigate and locate addresses in the designated delivery area using maps and directional tools.

Additional Requirements

• Delivery tasks involve driving a car and physically carrying product through various terrains and building types.
