Role Overview
This opportunity is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding and products. The franchisee, a company distinct from McDonald’s USA, is fully responsible for all employment decisions including hiring, firing, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA has no authority over these employment matters or access to application data.
Job Summary
The General Manager is charged with overseeing a profitable restaurant operation while ensuring adherence to McDonald’s high standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Working closely with senior leadership, the manager sets realistic targets for the restaurant and formulates strategies to meet them.
The role involves leading a team of Department Managers, supporting their goal-setting, monitoring progress, and coaching them to strengthen their departments, thereby enhancing overall restaurant performance. The General Manager is also responsible for recruiting and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the future.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have prior experience as a General Manager at busy locations, preferably within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail industries. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for this managerial role.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary up to $65,000 depending on experience
