Job Overview

Jovie seeks a seasoned and enthusiastic infant nanny to provide attentive care for infants and toddlers across multiple family assignments. Scheduled primarily Monday through Friday during typical business hours, this position offers the opportunity to engage with children in a nurturing and playful manner while parents are at work.

Candidate Profile

  • Genuinely enjoy and connect with children, demonstrating creativity through play, storytelling, and arts and crafts activities in the home environment.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and team members.
  • Availability for shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM, working 6 to 9 hours daily at least five days a week.
  • Possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for commuting to client homes.
  • Have a minimum of one year’s hands-on experience caring for infants.
  • Provide three references including two related to childcare experiences and one character reference.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Reliability and professionalism to build trust with families.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly wage ranges from $20 to $22, with overtime pay between $30 and $33 per hour.

Certifications and Qualifications

  • Daily outdoor playtime as weather allows.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds, bend, squat, reach, and safely respond promptly to emergencies.
  • Capability to get up and down from the floor multiple times daily.
