Role Overview

We are currently seeking Front Office Agents for permanent and fixed-term roles to join our team in the Bay of Islands. This dynamic frontline position involves managing guest interactions from arrival to departure, blending administrative duties with direct guest support to ensure seamless, memorable stays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary communication hub for the hotel
  • Facilitate smooth guest check-ins and check-outs with friendly professionalism
  • Coordinate room bookings and manage guest correspondence effectively
  • Assist guests with activity bookings and lodge experiences
  • Prepare and reconcile guest accounts, conduct daily audits, and support administrative requirements
  • Provide assistance with guest luggage, valet services, and vehicle maintenance
  • Collaborate with broader lodge operations teams as needed

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate excels in high-energy, guest-centric settings and holds a deep passion for refined hospitality service. Essential traits and qualifications include:

  • Prior experience in front office or guest service roles, preferably within luxury hospitality
  • Strong organizational abilities combined with excellent communication skills
  • Professional demeanor both in-person and on the telephone
  • Capability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain poise under pressure
  • Well-groomed and presentable appearance
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and good physical stamina
  • Familiarity with OPERA Cloud or equivalent reservation systems is advantageous but not required
  • A warm and engaging personality complemented by a genuine smile
