As a Founder Associate Intern, you will aid hundreds of applicants in managing their job search and linking them with premier startups worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the founding team on daily operations, candidate experiences, and growth projects.
• Manage comprehensive workflows including sourcing, screening, and cultivating relationships with top-tier candidates.
• Arrange introductions and meetings between candidates and hiring teams at prominent VC-backed ventures.
• Spot opportunities to enhance and automate recruitment processes and candidate interactions.
• Work cross-functionally with founders, candidates, and client companies through effective written and verbal communications.
• Lead significant projects from the outset, delivering tangible, measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• Strong commitment and enthusiasm to live and work onsite at a founder hacker-house in San Francisco with no commute.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, comfortable engaging with founders, candidates, and clients.
• A minimum of one prior internship lasting at least three months in fast-paced environments like consulting, sales, startups, or VC.
• Proven track record of ownership and delivering results in entrepreneurial or high-velocity settings.
• Exceptional profile demonstrated by an excellent academic record, notable projects, active GitHub presence, or equivalent excellence indicators.
• Willingness to fully commit, including working six full days weekly.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and work independently without extensive guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a founder-led, zero-to-one startup.
• Background in recruiting, HR technology, or talent operations.
• Knowledge of AI tools or automation workflows.

Work Location and Arrangement

This position requires full-time onsite presence in San Francisco, California. The team operates out of a shared hacker-house emphasizing no commute, quick feedback, and strong team connection, providing an immersive, in-person experience. Visa sponsorship is available.
