Floor Runner

Job Purpose

As a Floor Runner, your main role is to support the Cabin Stewards in executing daily housekeeping tasks, ensuring that guest cabins are impeccably clean and comfortable. Your contribution is essential in providing guests with an outstanding experience aboard the cruise ship.

Key Responsibilities

You will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of cabins, work under the guidance of the Housekeeping Manager, and help prepare guest rooms promptly to meet high standards. Additionally, you may interact with guests to enhance their onboard experience by fostering a warm and welcoming environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should have prior experience as a Floor Runner or an equivalent role, preferably within a cruise ship or hospitality context. A solid grasp of housekeeping practices and customer service excellence is important, along with the ability to multitask in a dynamic work setting. Experience dealing with guests professionally and attentively is expected.

Essential Skills

Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required. Familiarity with housekeeping supplies, tools, and cleaning techniques is necessary. Strong organizational capabilities, teamwork skills, and the ability to maintain a professional appearance are crucial. A positive, proactive, and adaptable mindset is essential for success in this position.
