Job Description
Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline group, is seeking a Flight Planner to join their Operations Control Centre based at the head office in Airside Business Park, Swords, Dublin. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment during a period of significant growth, aiming to expand the fleet to over 800 aircraft and serve 300 million guests annually within the next decade.
The role operates on a shift basis with a '4 on / 4 off' schedule, including night shifts. The starting salary is €40,000 per year with an additional €6,000 annual performance bonus, increasing to €45,000 plus bonus after one year.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement solutions to daily flight planning challenges.
- Support Flight Operations by delivering cost-efficient responses to delays and disruptions in flight plans.
- Oversee the production of flight plans and prepare relevant crews’ paperwork.
- Monitor and respond to Air Traffic Control (ATC) communications.
- Compile operational reports as required.
- Maintain and update route manuals, catalogues, and aircraft performance data.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by Operations Control Management.
Candidate Requirements
- Flexibility and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and logistical planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities with a confident and outgoing demeanor.
- Familiarity with computer applications including MS Word, Excel; knowledge of Netline is advantageous.
