Role Overview

This role involves transforming flight data into actionable safety insights designed to prevent future incidents. As a key member of the Safety team, you will carry out comprehensive analyses within the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) program to identify safety risks, operational patterns, and performance deviations by processing and interpreting flight operations data.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized data analyses related to flight operations.
• Configure and manage event definitions and threshold settings within the FDM system.
• Validate event triggers against multiple data sources and prioritize events based on risk levels and recurrence, following established escalation protocols.
• Support safety investigations and risk evaluations through data reconstruction and statistical comparisons across different fleets, routes, and operational conditions.
• Maintain stringent data governance and confidentiality standards.
• Ensure traceability and integrity of analysis methodologies and data.
• Assist in audits and continuously work to enhance the effectiveness of the FDM program.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a relevant degree qualification.
• At least three years of experience in aviation safety analytics, particularly in FDM/FOQA, flight operations analysis, or related safety and quality roles within regulated environments.
• Hands-on expertise in using FDM/FOQA software and generating safety trend reports.
• Preferred qualifications include training in Flight Data Analysis (FDA), Safety Management Systems (SMS), safety risk management principles, as well as proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools.
