Role Overview
This 6-month contract position offers a unique opportunity to work within the vibrant music industry in London. As a Finance Analyst, you will be a key contributor to a highly competent FP&A team, reporting directly with senior stakeholders. Your commercial mindset will help drive important business decisions through insightful financial analysis. The role comes with a competitive salary of £55,000 plus an annual bonus of up to 15%, recently awarded, and offers hybrid working with three days per week at the London office.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile monthly management accounts and deliver comprehensive financial reports.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide performance insights.
- Support budgeting processes, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations ensuring robust financial controls.
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders across departments to guide commercial decision-making.
- Analyze financial risks and identify new business opportunities.
- Enhance reporting procedures and assist in automating routine financial tasks.
- Contribute to various commercial and finance-related projects supporting business growth.
Candidate Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience preparing management accounts within a commercial environment.
- Strong background in financial planning and analysis or commercial finance roles.
- Advanced analytical and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Confident in partnering with senior stakeholders to influence outcomes.
- Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset, focusing on process enhancements.
- Experience with Workday or Adaptive Insights is advantageous but not essential.
Additional Information
