Overview
Caron Treatment Centers is seeking a Financial Analyst to join a mission-focused team that has supported recovery and life rebuilding for nearly 70 years. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate finance reports needed for day-to-day operations, including materials for the monthly Finance Committee packet.
- Build practical Excel-based reports and models such as advanced pivot tables, sensitivity analyses, and formatted templates.
- Design clear visual reports with charts, graphs, and other presentation tools that make complex financial information understandable for both finance and non-finance audiences.
- Support business decision-making by analyzing financial and operational data for the Corporate Director of Finance, including trend analysis and the effect of insurance contracts on pricing and operations.
- Handle reporting for the budgeting cycle, including report creation in Financial Edge and/or Powerplan and delivering completed reports or training to department heads and leadership.
- Assist with project-management reporting by helping prepare pro formas and other financial analysis for new initiatives and lines of business.
- Respond to IMS information requests for dashboards, reports, and related projects.
- Work with auditors by providing accounting support for the annual audit and helping confirm the accuracy of information used in annual 990 tax filings.
- Maintain thorough and current documentation for all monthly processes.
- Carry out other assigned duties and essential functions as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Uses hands and fingers repeatedly and needs good manual dexterity.
- Can stand, walk, or sit for periods of up to four hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift about 15 pounds to waist level or overhead.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is expected.
- Experience with Financial Edge and Power BI is considered an advantage.
- For applicants in recovery, preference is given to those with at least 1 year of continuous sobriety.
Skills and Attributes
- Solid grasp of finance operations, accounting principles, and financial data.
- Working knowledge of finance-related database structure, functions, and tools.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, multi-task environment and collaborating as part of a team.
