Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and meticulous Finance Operations and Transformation Analyst to lead the Order-to-Cash cycle, including billing processes, and to enhance reporting and financial systems. The role involves collaborating across departments to resolve operational challenges, drive continuous improvement, and balance hands-on tasks with strategic process reengineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee SaaS and additional billing activities, ensuring data validation and alignment across systems.
• Manage core operational metric reporting and analysis such as total bookings.
• Support the stabilization and enhancement of accounting software by diagnosing and resolving system issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize billing workflows and system reconciliations.
• Develop automated analytics for operational metrics using BI or AI tools.
• Handle complete sales commission calculations and reconciliations.
• Lead ad-hoc business initiatives and evolving projects as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Finance Operations, Revenue Operations, Billing, or Finance Transformation, preferably in SaaS subscription environments.
• Expertise in end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes.
• Strong skills in data validation and reconciliation across multiple systems.
• Knowledge of business software including accounting tools, CRM, and operational platforms.
• Experience optimizing, documenting, and automating workflows.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, accustomed to handling complex datasets and formulas.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage priorities independently in a dynamic workspace.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with Finance, Sales, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing or migrating ERP, accounting software (preferably Campfire), or billing platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of SaaS billing structures, recurring revenue, and subscription management.
• Understanding of accounting principles and core financial statements.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar analytics tools.
• Proficiency with AI applications to automate and enhance finance and operations.
• Experience managing sales commission calculations.
• Ability to thrive in a growing organization with evolving systems and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or related fields.
