Field Coordinator

Position Overview

The Field Coordinator is instrumental in managing the scheduling, dispatching, certification, calibration, and regulatory compliance of solids control equipment and related tools. This role involves close collaboration with field personnel, clients, and internal teams to ensure that all operational assets—including equipment, lifting gear, and instruments—are certified, calibrated, and ready for deployment in accordance with company and industry standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor certifications, ensuring equipment and tools have valid documentation compliant with client and regulatory standards.
• Maintain and update a certification tracking system and coordinate timely renewals with third-party certifiers.
• Oversee calibration schedules for measuring and testing instruments, ensuring all calibration certificates are valid and up to date.
• Organize inspections, including pre-use, periodic, and statutory checks, and ensure deficiencies are promptly resolved.
• Maintain centralized records of certifications, calibrations, and inspections, facilitating audits and compliance reviews.
• Continuously track equipment compliance status, anticipating and preventing lapses in certification or calibration.
• Provide detailed compliance reports and support internal and client audits with necessary documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous.
• At least five years of experience in logistics or dispatching roles, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
• Familiarity with equipment certification standards, lifting regulations, inspection protocols, and compliance management systems.
• Proven ability to manage database systems related to equipment certification and to coordinate third-party audits and inspections.
• Strong focus on detail and organizational skills, with expertise in scheduling software and compliance monitoring.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Knowledge of safety practices and regulations specific to the oil and gas industry.
