F&B Support Expert (Hostess)

Position Overview

At Westin Hotels & Resorts, the F&B Support Expert (Hostess) plays a key role in enhancing guests' dining experiences beyond just serving food and beverages. This position involves supporting food and beverage operations by setting tables, assisting in kitchen tasks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring supplies are replenished promptly. The role requires active involvement and multitasking to make each dining transaction feel seamless and part of a memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Staff in this role must maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and quality standards. Professionalism in uniform, appearance, and communication is essential. Physical demands include standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods, navigating uneven or slippery surfaces, handling menus accurately, and performing physical tasks such as lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds independently or up to 50 pounds with help, as well as bending, stooping, and reaching.
These tasks and any other reasonable duties assigned contribute to excellent service delivery for the guests and the business.

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational background: High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Experience: Prior exposure to food and beverage service is preferred but not mandatory; no previous supervisory experience required.
• Licenses or certifications are not required for this role.
