About the Role and Company

Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure all control activities strictly comply with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements.
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on various control systems including PLC, Life Safety Systems (LSS), Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), instrumentation, and other related control infrastructure.
- Assist in commissioning and initiating new control systems and infrastructure upgrades.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues systematically using established procedures.
- Perform risk assessments and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential system failures.
- Keep comprehensive and accurate records of control systems, maintenance work, and compliance documentation.
- Provide mentorship to junior technicians and actively engage in technical training to enhance team expertise.
- Support integration and deployment of SMART diagnostic tools and digital solutions to boost maintenance effectiveness and system intelligence.
Candidate Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent technical certification in Electrical & Control Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in control maintenance and operations, preferably within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing sectors.
- Proficient knowledge of PLC, instrumentation, FAS, LSS systems, electrical schematics, and adherence to safety codes.
- Familiarity with ETAP software, IEC standards, and predictive maintenance technologies is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork and thorough documentation.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities demonstrated through independent and collaborative work.
- A proactive, safety-focused approach with a commitment to ongoing process improvement.
