Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and driven Facilities and Cleaning Coordinator to oversee daily operations of facility and cleaning services across multiple sites, particularly supporting our early learning partner in Victoria. Reporting directly to the Head of Partnerships, you will lead a dedicated team to ensure maintenance and cleaning tasks meet high standards and facilitate smooth site functioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage both reactive and scheduled maintenance activities while adhering to legislation, contractual commitments, and operational standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning team and external contractors to maintain consistent and high-quality cleaning services.
- Collaborate with City management to schedule reactive and preventive maintenance before the end of Defects Liability Period (DLP) and effectively communicate plans to stakeholders.
- Maintain the asset register according to partner specifications.
- Ensure all site modifications are updated and configured in operational systems prior to commencement.
- Achieve and monitor relevant KPI benchmarks.
- Conduct investigations and produce reports on operational issues as required, leading improvement projects as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess tertiary or higher qualifications in Business, Administration, or a technical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a Facilities Management role.
- Experience with minor project planning and coordination.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and planning capabilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using various operating systems and software applications.
