Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Export Specialist to join our strategic business unit "Semiconductor Mask Solutions" at our Jena location. This is a fixed-term position for two years.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently classify goods according to the current customs tariff and carry out export compliance assessments in line with applicable regulations, focusing on European and U.S. export control laws.
• Evaluate, approve, and document export transactions for the Jena and Oberkochen sites.
• Assess import processes autonomously and provide instructions to service providers regarding import procedures.
• Regularly analyze export control processes and develop proposals for improvements.
• Prepare and submit binding tariff information requests.
• Support and prepare for foreign trade and customs audits.

Candidate Profile

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or a technical degree with commercial qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in sales including export and import processes, preferably in capital goods, working as an export specialist.
• Strong SAP skills, especially in modules MM, SD, and Business Warehouse.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.

Additional Information

This position is initially limited to a two-year contract period.
