Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and enforcement of security controls tailored to AI and machine learning models, pipelines, and data workflows, including creating safety regression tests and emergency override mechanisms.
• Manage vulnerabilities by ensuring comprehensive scanning and detection of weaknesses in AI/ML and traditional applications using tools like SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and specialized AI security solutions.
• Develop and sustain automated pipelines for continuous AI/ML security testing and monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with CISO teams, engineering, product development, and data departments to integrate security practices within AI/ML development lifecycles.
• Assist in the identification, analysis, and resolution of security incidents specific to AI and ML environments.
• Lead educational initiatives to promote secure development focused on AI/ML-related risks and best practices.
• Monitor and report on vulnerability status, including metrics unique to AI/ML such as model robustness and data integrity.
• Maintain and routinely update all relevant documentation, operational runbooks, and dashboards reflecting AI/ML security protocols.
• Communicate intricate AI/ML security issues effectively to both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Between 5 and 8 years of experience in information security, emphasizing application and AI/ML security domains.
• Proven hands-on expertise in securing AI/ML models, pipelines, and data throughout the AI/ML software development lifecycle, with strong understanding of threats such as adversarial attacks, model inversion, and data poisoning.
• Experience utilizing AI/ML-focused security tools, for example, the Adversarial Robustness Toolbox.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, preferably Python; familiarity with AI/ML frameworks is advantageous.
