Excavator Operator (Pipe Crew)

Position Overview

Shadforth is looking for skilled Excavator Operators to join pipe crews working on large-scale subdivision developments across the Sunshine Coast region. Operators will handle installation of stormwater, sewer, and water main infrastructure using advanced 30-ton Komatsu PC300-8 excavators equipped with Trimble GPS technology.

Role Responsibilities

• Operate side excavators on machines 20 tons and above, proficient in lifting operations.
• Perform shoring box installation and manage deep excavation tasks safely and effectively.
• Work collaboratively as a team member, adhering strictly to site safety directions and policies.
• For Lead Excavator Operators: Demonstrate thorough trenching and shoring expertise, confidently manage work near services and alongside small crews, and utilize Trimble GPS systems where applicable.
