Examinations Invigilator

Overview

Cheshire College - South & West is looking for dependable Examinations Invigilators to join its team across locations including Crewe, Ellesmere Port, and Chester campuses. This role offers a part-time, bank staff position with a pay rate of £12.88 per hour. Invigilators play a crucial role in supporting the College's examination processes during peak assessment periods.

Key Duties

• Carry out invigilation duties for both internal and external assessments.
• Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of examination materials, adhering to the standards set by JCQ and various awarding organisations.
• Support the welfare and safety of children and young people throughout the examination period.

Additional Opportunities

There is an option for invigilators to receive specialized training to take on additional roles as readers and scribes, assisting learners with access arrangements.

Requirements

• Have attained at least a GCSE Grade C (4/5) or equivalent in both English and Maths.
• Possess a strong awareness of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles relevant to the educational and workplace environment.
• Demonstrate excellent organisational capabilities.
• Be comfortable and capable with digital tools and technology to a suitable level.
