About the Role
Gotham Technology Group seeks a meticulous and driven Marketing Coordinator to enhance our marketing efforts with a strong focus on event coordination, vendor relationships, internal communications, and logistical support. This role operates in a hybrid setting, requiring presence at our Montvale, NJ office 1-2 days per week or as needed. The total salary offered ranges between $55,000 and $65,000 annually.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute diverse events such as webinars, seminars, executive forums including golf outings, trade shows, and sales training sessions.
- Act as the on-site lead for all events, ensuring smooth operations and satisfaction of attendees.
- Oversee the complete logistics cycle including venue selection and contract negotiations, managing invitations, coordinating vendors, handling AV and entertainment, tracking budgets, distributing marketing giveaways, and managing collateral and post-event follow-ups.
- Provide support for company internal events like Sales Kick-Offs, team dinners, employee gatherings, and the annual President’s Club trip.
- Collaborate with departments such as sales, operations, and communications to ensure successful event delivery.
- Follow all company policies, including security protocols.
- Manage inventory and procurement of Gotham-branded marketing materials and promotional products.
- Ensure proper organization and archiving of marketing and event materials within SharePoint.
- Engage in monthly budget and vendor fund evaluations, including tracking general ledger accounts and closing expenses.
- Assist with outbound communications including email campaigns, vendor messaging, and internal lead management.
- Document event content and visuals to support social media and internal communication initiatives.
- Work closely with the communications team to maintain consistent brand messaging.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong project and time management capabilities, able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail accompanied by excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
- Experience or knowledge of design and event marketing tools such as Canva and Eventbrite is advantageous.
- Comfort using Zoom and Microsoft Teams for webinar hosting.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently across departments as a team player.
- Willingness to work evenings for event support and travel locally within New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut as needed.
- Possession of reliable transportation is required.
