Position Summary
We are currently looking for a driven and well-organized Entry Level Event Coordinator to join our energetic team. This role provides a fantastic opportunity for individuals enthusiastic about event planning who want to launch their career in the events sector. The coordinator will assist in the management and delivery of a diverse range of events including corporate conferences, meetings, social functions, and community gatherings.
This role requires on-site presence at our Charlotte, NC location. Candidates must reside locally or nearby and be available to start immediately.
Key Duties
- Support all phases of event planning and implementation from start to finish.
- Collaborate with vendors, venue managers, and suppliers to fulfill event needs.
- Oversee logistics such as event setup, breakdown, and on-the-ground coordination.
- Engage with clients to clarify their event objectives and expectations.
- Assist in preparing event timelines, schedules, and budget tracking.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational capability with a keen eye for details.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to multitask efficiently and maintain composure under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and event management software is advantageous.
