Engineering Lead

Role Overview

Take charge of the construction execution within a designated project zone, ensuring activities follow project schedules and specifications precisely. Oversee daily operations by coordinating closely with engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to maintain seamless workflow.

Key Duties

• Collaborate with planning and procurement departments to secure timely availability of work fronts and materials.
• Analyze construction drawings and specifications, addressing technical challenges through liaison with design and quality assurance teams.
• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety and environmental (HSE) standards, conduct regular safety briefings, and aim for zero incident outcomes on site.
• Generate and evaluate daily and weekly progress reports, reporting anomalies or challenges promptly to the Construction Manager.
• Oversee productivity, cost efficiency, and resource management for the assigned construction area.
• Assist in strategizing project activities such as shutdowns, heavy lifts, and significant construction milestones.
• Ensure all operations comply with established quality standards, inspection protocols, and documentation practices.
• Mentor junior site engineers and foremen, fostering a collaborative, motivated, and high-achieving team environment.
