Role Overview

This position is for an experienced mechanical engineering professional to lead equipment design and development for boiler systems. The client is a major waste heat recovery boiler manufacturer based in Hyderabad.

Core Work

The role involves driving the design and development of industrial boiler equipment, including fire tube boilers, waste heat recovery boilers, and related pressure equipment. The position also requires strong expertise in thermal and mechanical design, along with strict adherence to ASME and IBR code requirements.

The selected candidate will participate in technical discussions and coordinate with multiple engineering functions to ensure drawings and designs are aligned across disciplines.

Key Requirements

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and around 15 years of experience in boiler equipment design and engineering. A solid grasp of manufacturing methods and engineering materials is important.

The candidate must be able to obtain drawings from customers or consultants through CMD, review interface points, and check drawings with teams such as piping, structural engineering, and instrumentation & controls.
