Role Overview
This entry-level Client Services Representative position supports the pursuit and management of disaster recovery and environmental restoration contracts with governmental and commercial clients. The role involves fostering positive customer relations, assisting in business development, and supporting operations during disaster activations, working closely with internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in internal training programs to understand core competencies in disaster debris removal.
- Collaborate within a team to pursue federal, state, municipal, and commercial contracts in assigned regions or markets.
- Support marketing, sales, and contract development initiatives to enhance business growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and strategic partners.
- Assist Client Services Manager with identifying new contract opportunities and potential partners.
- Document sales and customer interactions accurately using CRM systems.
- Contribute expertise toward proposal creation and improvement.
- Coordinate with project managers and estimators to gather bid information and eligibility qualifications.
- Provide technical support during disaster operations and deploy rapidly for damage assessment and operational setup.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Emergency Management, engineering, business, government management or related fields.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and foundational project management skills with eagerness to learn.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the willingness to learn additional software tools.
- Understanding of contract administration processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within teams and incorporate feedback.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with openness to developing negotiation and client-facing skills.
- Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and assignments efficiently.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
- Compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) standards including hard hats, protective eyewear, and steel-toed boots.
- Willingness to work in various challenging environments such as extreme temperatures, confined spaces, elevated or precarious locations, exposure to mechanical parts and airborne particles, and loud noise.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and standards.
Benefits and Compensation
- Annual salary range between $55,000 and $70,000 depending on factors such as location, experience, and skills.
