About the Position
KPM Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a driven Electronics Engineer specialized in IoT Embedded Systems to join their technical team based in Gurugram, Haryana. This full-time role focuses on creating IoT-enabled electrical testing and monitoring devices suitable for industrial applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and program embedded systems primarily using microcontrollers like ESP32 and others.
- Develop firmware for sensors, measurement units, data acquisition systems, and IoT devices.
- Implement communication protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, UART, SPI, I²C, and RS-485 to enable device connectivity.
- Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms like ThingsBoard for seamless real-time data visualization and monitoring.
- Configure dashboards to display device status, generate alarms, and visualize data effectively.
- Work with various sensors and electrical measurement instruments to capture required data.
- Identify and resolve issues related to hardware, firmware, communications, and connectivity.
- Support prototype development and testing of deployed IoT systems in field conditions.
- Perform basic schematic capture and PCB design to develop hardware circuits.
- Interface microcontrollers with analog and digital circuits and external peripherals.
- Collaborate within the engineering team to produce reliable, commercially viable products.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including firmware specs and test reports.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Hands-on experience programming microcontrollers like ESP32, Arduino, STM32 or equivalents.
- Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ programming.
- Familiarity with IoT communication protocols, especially MQTT.
- Experience using cloud or IoT platforms such as ThingsBoard.
- Understanding of serial communication protocols including UART, RS-485, SPI, and I²C.
- Basic knowledge of sensors, analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), general-purpose I/O pins, and data acquisition methods.
- Fundamental skills in schematic design and PCB layout techniques.
Additional Advantageous Skills
- Knowledge of power electronics and power supply circuitry.
- Working experience with PCB design tools including KiCad, Altium, or Eagle.
- Familiarity with Modbus RTU/TCP protocols.
- Experience with wireless communication technologies like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, Ethernet, GSM/4G.
- Understanding RESTful API integration and cloud systems.
- Experience using version control tools such as Git or GitHub.
- Exposure to product development in industrial monitoring, electrical testing, energy management, or condition monitoring sectors.

Compensation
