Role Overview

This full-time position for a Driver at Royal Family is based on-site in Jiddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating company vehicles safely and efficiently, transporting goods or passengers as assigned, while maintaining strict adherence to traffic laws and company policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before and after each trip to identify any mechanical issues.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo or passengers securely and safely.
• Maintain detailed logs documenting mileage, routes taken, and delivery times accurately.
• Collaborate with dispatchers or supervisors to plan the most efficient travel routes and schedules.
• Interact professionally with clients or passengers, providing courteous customer service.
• Manage basic documentation related to transport and deliveries.
• Keep company vehicles clean, tidy, and well-maintained to preserve a presentable appearance.

Candidate Qualifications

• Proven skills driving trucks with experience operating commercial vehicles.
• Possession of a valid CDL Class A license or its equivalent and a clean driving record.
• Comprehensive knowledge of road safety rules and regulations relevant to driving commercial vehicles.
• Strong communication and customer service capabilities to engage effectively with team members, clients, and passengers.
• Availability to work reliably onsite at Jiddah, demonstrating punctuality and meticulousness in documentation and route planning.
• Physical capability to safely load, unload, and secure cargo and perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Previous experience working within logistics or transportation sectors is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jiddah local routes will be advantageous.
