Role Overview
This full-time Draftsperson position, based at the Brisbane Support Office in Hamilton, reports to the Drafting Team Lead. The primary responsibility is producing detailed, precise drawings and documentation to support the development and design of Ingenia's residential and community projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate accurate design drawings, plans, and supporting documents for residential and community development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of drawings with project goals, compliance standards, and deadlines.
- Create, revise, and manage technical drawings and design files, emphasizing accuracy and rigorous version control.
- Analyze project data to identify drafting needs, detect discrepancies, and find opportunities for refining design documentation.
- Foster a cooperative, safety-conscious team setting, and participate in continuous enhancement of drafting and design methodologies.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in drafting, design documentation, or a related technical role, ideally within residential construction or property development sectors.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic project environment.
- Competence in interpreting blueprints, technical data, and project instructions, utilizing practical problem-solving approaches.
- Proficient in drafting and design software, along with solid skills in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and a dedication to workplace health and safety, including hazard reporting and risk management participation.
