Role Description
We are currently seeking a Document Controller (m/w/d) for our project sites in Würzburg and Hannover within the Power & Energy sector. This role requires an experienced and motivated individual to support our team by ensuring orderly and efficient management of project documentation. The Document Controller will oversee the capturing, administration, and distribution of diverse project documents in compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage documents throughout their lifecycle, including creation, approval, distribution, revision, and archiving.
- Ensure adherence to internal document policies and industry-specific regulatory requirements.
- Organize and maintain the document management system effectively.
- Review and update documents to guarantee completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to collect and validate documentation.
- Handle change requests, maintain version control, and oversee document approval workflows.
- Ensure timely availability of documents for both internal and external audits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of enhancements to document management processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completion of relevant vocational training or degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least three years of experience in document control or document management in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of document management standards, practices, and systems.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
- Capability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines within a dynamic work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong orientation towards teamwork.
- Proficiency in German (very good) and English (good), both written and spoken.
- Strong skills in MS Office and relevant document management software.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel domestically within Germany and internationally as needed for projects and business requirements.
