Project Context

Currently, ACCIONA is engaged in delivering the Prospect Pre-Treatment Plant Project, an essential Sydney Water infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing the water quality and resilience of Sydney. This project includes complex civil and mechanical engineering works to ensure sustainable and dependable water treatment systems for the region.

Role Overview

The Document Controller will be instrumental in supporting engineers, designers, and drafters by implementing and maintaining comprehensive document management practices throughout the project's lifecycle. This role involves managing the creation, review, revision, distribution, and secure access of all technical documentation, ensuring alignment with ACCIONA’s standards.

Key Duties

  • Maintain document registers and numbering systems accurately.
  • Ensure effective version control across all project documentation.
  • Timely issuance of documents to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Administer metadata, user permissions, and folder structures within Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.
  • Develop and sustain work instructions, procedural documents, and workflow guides.
  • Provide training and support to project members on document management protocols.
  • Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal departments and external partners.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in document control.
  • Proficient use of Common Data Environment (CDE) software and systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of document control standards and industry best practices.
  • Ability to compose clear and concise procedural and instructional documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and cooperation effectively.
