Job Overview

Highland Hills, a community under Trinity Health Senior Living, seeks a dedicated Dishwasher to support our mission by maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. This role is vital in ensuring exemplary dining services and preventing foodborne illnesses and cross-contamination.

Primary Duties

• Prepare the dishwashing and pot-sink areas before meal service begins.
• Clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils during meal times and return them appropriately.
• Follow weekly cleaning schedules for kitchen spaces and equipment maintenance.
• Manage waste disposal by appropriately handling trash, boxes, cans, and bottles.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, walk-in refrigerators, and tiled dining areas to uphold hygiene.
• Clean and maintain floor mats regularly.
• Adhere to strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe, healthy dining atmosphere.
• Complete established closing procedures daily.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend and follow both written and oral instructions effectively.
• Physical capability to lift weights of 50 pounds or more.
• Endurance to stand for prolonged durations.
• Comfortable handling hot liquids, cleaning chemicals, and potentially contaminated materials, following safety rules.
• Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-temperature environments.
