About the Role

As a Detailer Coordinator at Bridges Chevrolet in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our vehicle detailing operations. This position combines hands-on tasks with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and delivered to customers in pristine condition. You'll also help organize workflow, manage supplies, and support other team members, all within a supportive and dynamic dealership environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the daily workflow of the detailing department and delegating tasks appropriately.
  • Executing both exterior and interior detailing services, adhering to our delivery standards.
  • Leading and mentoring detailers to ensure productivity and adherence to quality expectations.
  • Conducting thorough final inspections on vehicles prior to customer handover.
  • Monitoring and restocking detailing supplies to maintain inventory control and organization.
  • Performing tasks such as vacuuming, deodorizing interiors, washing, and polishing exteriors, and applying treatments like paint sealant and wheel polish.
  • Utilizing hand tools, cleaning equipment, and power washers for comprehensive cleaning.
  • Inspecting vehicles for any issues or further service needs and reporting as necessary.
  • Completing checklists and documentation accurately and on schedule.
  • Assisting with additional operational needs as directed to ensure smooth department function.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year’s experience in automotive detailing or a comparable hands-on automotive role.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving history.
  • Proficiency in driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to producing high-quality results.
  • Comfortability using cleaning chemicals, hand tools, and power equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work productively in a high-activity environment.
  • Capacity to meet physical requirements, including extended standing and occasional lifting.
  • Dependable and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Authorization to work legally in Canada.
