About the Role

Join Parsons as a visionary Design Director leading the development of landmark projects in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This executive position involves setting the design vision, sustaining excellence across mega real estate and master planning initiatives, and steering a high-performance team in delivering iconic and sustainable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and implement a comprehensive design direction and standards across diverse large-scale projects in the Tabuk region.
• Oversee all design stages from initial master planning and conceptual phases to detailed design and construction documentation, ensuring top-tier architectural quality.
• Serve as the principal design representative interfacing with senior leadership, governmental bodies, and international consultants to align projects with regional strategic objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and expand a multidisciplinary in-house design team, nurturing a culture focused on innovation, adaptability, and continuous professional growth.
• Manage commercial aspects and risk by monitoring timelines, budgets, and resources, mitigating design risks while enhancing sustainability and financial viability.

Required Qualifications

• At least 20 years of advancing experience in architecture, master planning, or urban design, including a minimum of 8 years in senior or director-level roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related accredited discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successfully delivered major mixed-use, hospitality, or giga-scale projects at high profiles.
• Previous experience working in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia, is highly beneficial.
• Strong leadership capabilities, refined aesthetic sensibility, expert negotiation skills, and thorough knowledge of sustainable design and smart city technologies.
