Overview
The Demand Planner for the Eurasia region will be responsible for developing and managing the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) forecasts spanning 0 to 24 months by brand and SKU. This role entails coordinating inputs from sales, marketing, and other partners to produce a comprehensive demand plan, which includes reviewing and adjusting short-term demand at SKU and location levels. The planner will then provide finalized plans to supply planners and revise forecasts based on feedback.
Key Contributions
- Support the demand management cycle of Integrated Business Planning for assigned categories and contribute to strategy discussions.
- Facilitate collaboration between commercial and operational teams, enhancing communication to achieve business KPIs.
- Own the forecast compilation process, handling both short-term weekly plans and longer-term forecasts beyond three months.
- Work alongside statistical modelling teams to generate forecasts and oversee the demand planning tools.
- Conduct root cause analysis to improve forecast accuracy and service levels, communicating insights to leadership.
- Monitor shipment plans across Eurasia and manage changes related to Biscuits & Sugar & Snacks categories.
- Lead regular demand review meetings for Stans & Mongolia markets, ensuring consolidated oversight at brand level for Eurasian countries.
- Track Sales Forecast Accuracy (SFA) and bias performance at cluster and category levels.
- Verify alignment of sell-in plans against production availability at brand level.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics in fast-moving consumer goods or similarly dynamic environments.
- Experience working within IBP/S&OP frameworks, capable of influencing cross-functional teams to optimize planning processes.
- Advanced proficiency in demand forecasting tools (preferably SAP APO) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI; experience with statistical software like R or Python is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communicator and effective team player.

Role Context and Reporting
This position reports to the DP&F Manager for Eurasia and collaborates closely with the broader Customer Service & Logistics function, encompassing order-to-cash, logistics operations, and co-packing activities. Countries primarily covered include Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Mongolia, with occasional project involvement in Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Belarus.
