This role requires managing various tasks including use of equipment, organizing stock by rotating ingredients from delivery to storage and work areas, product preparation, and processing orders received via telephone and online platforms. Keeping accurate inventory records and completing associated paperwork, as well as maintaining cleanliness of equipment and facilities, are essential tasks.
Training and Skills
Training consists of customer service orientation sessions, interactive computer-based programs, and practical hands-on experience. Key customer service abilities include safe driving of a personal vehicle and effective navigation through roads, maps, and challenging delivery site conditions such as stairs and uneven terrain while transporting products.
Mathematical and Physical Requirements
Basic mathematical skills are necessary to accurately perform operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to handle cash transactions; calculators may be used to assist. Physically, the role demands standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing ladders or stairs, bending, crouching, reaching, gripping tools and equipment, and tolerating a variety of temperature conditions both indoors and outdoors.
