Data Stage Developer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Work extensively with DataStage, Unix, and SQL in day-to-day development tasks.
• Apply data warehousing principles and contribute to ETL and business intelligence initiatives.
• Write advanced SQL queries to support data analysis and related processing needs.
• Create, troubleshoot, and maintain Unix shell scripts with a high level of accuracy.
• Use knowledge of BI tools and their capabilities to support solution delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve production issues through structured troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Must have strong proficiency in DataStage.
• Hands-on experience with Unix and SQL is required.
• Should have a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• At least 5 years of experience in ETL or Business Intelligence projects is needed.
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries for analysis is essential.
• Should be skilled in developing and debugging Unix shell scripts.
• Good understanding of BI toolsets and their functionality is expected.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are required.
• Experience in handling production troubleshooting is important.
• Applicants should be graduates in any discipline.
