Position Overview
The Data Entry Support Specialist will handle large volumes of data input, assist with the upkeep of databases, and deliver administrative support related to logistics, order tracking, and reports on performance metrics. This role suits an individual who excels in detail-oriented, process-focused tasks and is capable of working autonomously while maintaining effective communication with both remote and on-site colleagues.
Although primarily remote, the job occasionally includes opportunities for on-site training or teamwork sessions at the Oklahoma City location.
Primary Responsibilities
- Input, review, and confirm operational data such as orders, shipments, and client information.
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining digital databases for optimal accuracy and efficiency.
- Process data received from warehouse logs, invoices, and partner systems.
- Prepare regular reports and performance dashboards for management evaluation.
- Work closely with team leaders to detect and resolve data inconsistencies promptly.
- Safeguard confidentiality of sensitive company and client data in both remote and office settings.
- Provide minor administrative assistance including document organization and workflow monitoring.
- Coordinate with logistics, customer service, and operations teams through remote collaboration platforms.
- Take part in quality control procedures and routine audits to ensure company compliance.
- Recommend improvements to data processing and accuracy within remote systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum education: High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least two years of experience in data entry, data management, or clerical support.
- Previous work in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain fields is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in remote or hybrid work settings.
- Typing skills with a speed of 60 words per minute or higher preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and cloud database platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accurate data handling.
- Capability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills in both writing and speech for remote collaboration.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment conducive to remote work.
Work Environment and Schedule
- Standard operating hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Fully remote position with optional hybrid participation.
- Company provides laptop, VPN access, and communication tools necessary for remote duties.
