Role Overview
This Data Analyst position is part of the Operations division within a global tech company, located in King Abdullah Economic City. The primary objective is to convert complex operational data into concise, actionable insights that facilitate data-driven decisions for Manufacturing and Logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business owners to gather data and reporting needs related to Manufacturing performance metrics.
- Examine extensive datasets to discover trends and actionable insights for operational improvement.
- Enhance, integrate, and transform data to meet changing business requirements.
- Create and sustain comprehensive dashboards, reports, and visual representations to communicate analytical findings across organizational levels.
- Convey analyses and suggestions to leadership by simplifying complex information into understandable insights.
- Work with various departments to establish key performance indicators and automate reporting processes.
- Perform advanced statistical analyses and modeling to aid forecasting and scenario planning.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity through best practices in data management and governance.
- Provide real-time visualization of performance data through standardized dashboards.
- Interface with multiple systems and data warehouses to deliver meaningful data accessible on laptops, mobiles, and display units.
- Keep updated on the latest trends and best methods in data analytics and visualization.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Data Science, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in analytics, reporting, data visualization, or Python programming.
- Expertise in Python or a similar programming language.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, SAP, JIRA, and Tableau platforms.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude, capable of interpreting complex data into actionable outcomes.
- Ability to analyze data using both holistic and detailed approaches.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Capable of managing projects, prioritizing tasks, and allocating resources efficiently.
- Willingness to adjust working hours including nights and weekends when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Higher academic degrees in relevant fields.
- Experience handling complex manufacturing data analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL and additional visualization tools.
- Knowledge of automotive interior market and performance reporting.
- Familiarity with cost engineering and supplier relationship management.
- Awareness of automotive industry trends, particularly for interior components.
- Background working in fast-paced, start-up or automotive OEM/Tier 1 environments.
