Data Analyst (Entry / Junior)

Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-focused Data Analyst at the entry or junior level to aid in enhancing business decisions via data collection, in-depth analysis, and insightful reporting. This position focuses on converting raw datasets into actionable information that facilitates improved team performance, process optimization, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams including operations, finance, marketing, sales, product, and technology to understand data requirements and support analytical projects.
• Collect data from diverse sources, ensure data integrity, analyze trends, and generate reports and dashboards conveying valuable business intelligence.
• Perform data cleaning and organization, track key performance indicators (KPIs), detect patterns and trends, and prepare recurring comprehensive reports.
• Create visual data presentations to effectively communicate insights and support business intelligence efforts.
• Investigate discrepancies in data, validate quality, maintain documentation, and assist in enhancing data analysis workflows.
• Handle both structured and unstructured data and contribute to projects driven by data analytics to provide relevant information for business decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders to interpret business challenges, translate them into analytical solutions, and clearly present findings.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability with acute attention to detail.
• Skilled in collecting, cleaning, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel including advanced features such as formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data functions.
• Basic SQL knowledge for querying and managing database information.
• Experience or familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Understanding of data analysis methodologies, reporting techniques, and business intelligence concepts.
• Competence in developing dashboards, reports, and presentations to clearly convey insights.
• Knowledge of data validation, quality management, and documentation standards.
• Basic experience with programming languages for data analysis such as Python or R is beneficial.
• Familiar with KPI monitoring, performance reporting, and analytical frameworks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills capable of elucidating data-driven findings.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
