Customs Documentation & Operations Specialist

About the Role

Express Solutions for Customs Clearance (ES4CC) is looking for a meticulous and well-organized Customs Documentation & Operations Specialist. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics, with a focus on managing customs documentation accurately and supporting day-to-day operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Classify customs tariffs accurately using HS Code Classification and Customs Tariff Coding.
• Translate shipping, customs, and logistics documents between Arabic and English languages.
• Prepare and submit import, export, and transit declarations in compliance with relevant protocols.
• Input and update shipment data precisely in customs and company information systems.
• Ensure customs documentation meets the regulatory standards of Saudi Arabia.
• Liaise with customs officials, shipping companies, transport providers, and internal departments effectively.
• Keep shipment records organized and verify all paperwork is complete and correct.
• Support various customs and logistics operational processes as necessary.

Requirements

• Prior experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics activities preferred.
• Knowledgeable about Saudi customs rules and required documentation.
• Familiarity with the processes involved in import, export, and transit customs procedures.
• Proficient in reading and writing both Arabic and English.
• Strong computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications.
• High attention to detail combined with excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to undertake short-notice travel for temporary assignments as needed.
• Flexibility to work occasionally at alternative company sites or ports.

Additional Information
