Role Overview
McCain Foods invites applications for the role of Customer Supply Chain Lead based in Dubai, UAE, to support the expansion of their Middle East operations. This full-time position focuses on ensuring a superior operational experience for key customers in the MENA region by serving as the main liaison between customers and internal teams, driving improvements in the Order-to-Cash process, and tailoring supply chain solutions to meet customer demands with a strong customer-first ethos.
Main Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for key customers, ensuring seamless service throughout all supply chain stages including pre-order, order, and post-delivery phases.
- Oversee the entire Order-to-Cash cycle, from order receipt to product delivery, to align with customer and market requirements while preventing stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Customize and manage key customer experiences by recognizing preferences, establishing service level agreements, and continuously enhancing these standards.
- Track and evaluate customer operational metrics using jointly agreed scorecards to ensure performance excellence.
- Work closely with sourcing teams, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to guarantee timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Identify operational inefficiencies alongside key customers and develop collaborative action plans to boost supply chain effectiveness.
- Represent customer perspectives in cross-functional meetings, including new product developments, relaunches, logistics needs, and regulatory compliance discussions.
- Promptly respond to customer inquiries and complaints with a commitment to rapid resolution and market responsiveness.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of three years’ experience within the FMCG sector, particularly in roles related to Supply Chain, Customer Service, or Logistics.
- Familiarity with food industry market dynamics and international trade regulations.
- Proven customer-facing experience that demonstrates a customer-centric approach.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, international logistics, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Knowledge and experience with diverse supply chain models, systems, and technologies.
- Hands-on experience utilizing SAP, Power BI, and advanced Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Analytical aptitude with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to balance customer relations and operational duties.
- Ability to navigate the cultural and regional complexities within the GCC countries confidently.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with Arabic and French language skills considered advantageous.
- Willingness to travel approximately 15% within the GCC region.
