Role Overview
This position involves high-volume customer service and operational responsibilities essential to the daily functions of a health insurance company. Tasks include direct member engagement and important back office functions executed in line with standard procedures. The role will report to the Concierge Operations Manager and is based remotely within Florida. Occasional travel for team gatherings or company events may be required.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly wage ranges between $19.00 and $21.00. Full-time employees enjoy comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, paid holidays, sick leave, parental leave, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, plus wellness time and reimbursements. Vacation accrues at 15 days annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Oscar's business processes, tools, and service procedures.
- Engage effectively with members, brokers, providers, and vendors across multiple communication channels.
- Manage assigned workload ensuring quality, productivity, and service delivery standards are met.
- Establish cooperative relationships with internal and external partners.
- Identify and escalate issues appropriately to leadership, facilitating timely resolutions.
- Track workflow health and progress regularly.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving operational processes.
- Adhere strictly to operational, regulatory, and compliance guidelines, including protection of member Personal Health Information (PHI) and compliance with all relevant laws.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a fast-paced or customer-centric environment.
- Minimum six months experience within the healthcare sector.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of strong analytical skills oriented towards problem identification and resolution.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, inclusive of professional expertise in speaking, writing, and reading.
- Experience with data manipulation and precision in data entry.
- Proficient with Google Suite or Microsoft Office applications.
