Overview
We are seeking skilled Crane Operators to join Jurong Port's operations at the Penjuru location. The role involves lifting and handling cargo efficiently and safely at lighter terminals, providing seamless support in shifts as part of a specialist equipment team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cranes adhering strictly to defined parameters and specifications.
- Efficiently manage cargo lifting and handling activities while complying with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate and coordinate effectively with lifting supervisors, lifting team members, boat crews, and external contractors involved in cargo operations.
- Ensure the secure transfer of cargo between shore facilities and vessels.
- Deliver professional, high-quality service to all port users.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a valid mobile crane license; prior experience with quay cranes is advantageous.
- Competent in operating within technology-enhanced environments, including the use of devices such as iPads.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite essential.
- Adaptability to dynamic and challenging work environments.
- Willingness to accept cross-deployment assignments within the main port area and affiliated terminals (e.g., Marina South Wharves).
- Availability for overtime work as required.
- Demonstrated team spirit with experience in port operations.
- Good communication skills to facilitate teamwork and coordination.
