Costing Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Costing Engineer to join a leading auto component manufacturing company based in Nashik, India. The role involves analyzing customer drawings, preparing detailed Bills of Materials (BOM), establishing production routings, coordinating with production teams, and accurately pricing machined components by estimating material, machining, and commercial costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer-provided mechanical drawings to identify component requirements.
• Develop comprehensive Bills of Materials to support production planning.
• Determine manufacturing routings and workflow in collaboration with production units.
• Calculate costs associated with materials, machining processes such as CNC and VMC, and commercial expenses to appropriately price parts.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical or Production Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum of four years professional experience specializing in costing machined components within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in estimating machining costs, including operations involving CNC and VMC machines.
